A few weeks ago the New York Luubians took a trip to Brooklyn for family dinner before the Thanksgiving holiday. On our way to dinner Nina and I stopped by the Grand Army Plaza. It is such a gorgeous space, especially at night when all the lights are lit up.
My favorite color Chan scarf right now!
Behind the Scenes: Spring 2013 Jewelry Look book
We recently shot our Spring 2013 Jewelry Look Book in Kauai! We had such an amazing and successful shoot thanks to our Chan Luu crew, Photographer: Julian Tran, Model: Nickayla Rivera, and Makeup Artist: Kathleen Schiffmann.

Don’t forget to check out our Kiss Kiss bracelet Collection. Chan will donate 50% of all sales proceeds from this collection to Sean Penn’s J/P Haitian Relief Organization!
Recently we went to Kauai to shoot the Spring 2013 Jewelry Look Book. We had a great time shooting on location at waterfalls, on the beach, in the ocean, and spots we would find along the way. Below are some pics from the adventure!
Literally, freezing. First a Hurricane and then a Nor’easter… yet we are outside of the Brooklyn Museum. Unfortunately it was closed when we were there but my affinity for museums only grew when I saw how cool and modern this one was compared to some of the older structured museums in Manhattan. Cannot wait to come back here and see the sights.
Keep warm with my favorite scarves here
This past week, Medea, our Southern states sales rep, and I traveled to Denver for the CALA tradeshow. This was my first time visiting Denver, and I fell in love with how hip and lovely the city is. I wanted to share an inside look at our trip, some of our highlights, and of course lots and lots of the jewelry we showcased!
#1. Setting up the booth—Merchandising all the new Chan jewelry, scarves and ready-to-wear clothes.
#2. A Starbucks run is a MUST. Have to get my dirty chai latte to get my morning started!
#3. LAYERING, LAYERING, LAYERING
#4. We visited one of our Denver accounts, Blush, and saw how beautiful Downtown Denver is.
Bryant Park is a great place to visit any time of the year, but my personal favorite time to go to the park is during the holiday season. Every year Bryant Park sets up a gigantic ice rink that is surrounded by pop up shops of all sorts!

Into the Wilderness Collection
Every few seasons Madison Square Park, located in the Flatiron District of New York City, has different exhibitions for park goers to come and see. This one in particular caught my eye well because.. this LED light installation, by Leo Villareal, called ‘BUCKYBALL’ showcases over 16 million colors. With some comfortable seating lined around the BUCKYBALL, it’s the perfect place to cuddle up with your friends or significant other. I highly recommend stopping by the installation before it goes away on Feb 1st, 2013. Especially while the weather is still holding up here in New York..
This past weekend Chan, Tessa, and I had the pleasure of travelling to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico to do a trunk show at the Capella Pedregal Resort. We did the trunk show in correspondence with the Dias de la Muertos festival. We had an array of skull adorned jewelry that became keepsakes for many of the hotel guests and residents of Cabo. See some of the pictures below from the trip!

A big thanks to everyone who participated in the event! We had great time at the trunk show!
