Chan Luu

Monthly Archives: October 2011

Here are some of my favorite pieces from the website that compliment  this fairy-like trend!

This past week I was in Chicago for the Stylemax show. It felt so good to be back on my old stomping grounds, mixing a little pleasure with business.

This week was LA Market where we showcased our Spring 2012 Collection. Our buyers loved the ethereal, fairy-like feel of our ready-to-wear collection, which is full of flowy chiffons, sequins, and sparkly knits. It was very exciting to have Chan, Terry our VP of Sales, and Natasha from our New York showroom join us for the show!

Atlanta Market.

This week I am down in Atlanta, Georgia for Market. It is always nice to come down to the South for a change of pace. We have a great showroom in downtown Atlanta at the Apparel Mart.

Since moving to NYC from Chicago I have had so many great experiences, my greatest one was joining the Chan Luu family. As the Midwest brand rep and PR coordinator, Chan Luu has taken me in and become my family away from home.

Anyone who knows me, knows my favorite spot in NYC is the lower east side. I love it’s grittiness and how culturally important the area is to New York.

Like the LES, I love my jewelry gritty too, as reflected in my obsession with skulls and chains

La Tour Eiffel.

This past week I traveled with Chan, Terry, and Jillian to Paris for the Premiere Classe tradeshow. Everything about Paris is amazing! But what I love most about Paris is the architecture, it is beyond words…
